Who We Are

Performance Solutions NZ formed in 2009. Not being wholly satisfied that there was enough local choice with regards to high quality water repellent sealers and anti-graffiti coatings I went searching the net. My criteria was the following:

  • Must be cost-effective
  • Must be the best performing of its type in the marketplace
  • Must meet the strictest green criteria
  • Must be water-based
  • Must be low in VOC's
  • Must contain no known carcinogens
  • Must be single pot
  • Minimal substrate prep before applying
  • In the case of a water repellent sealer - must repel water but also allow the substrate to breathe so that water does not get trapped.

I thought I'd set myself an impossible task. My exhaustive search ended on the RainGuard International site. After a number of phone conversations with a RainGuard representative and a series of very informative and detailed webinars I was hooked. A very personal quest transformed into a business opportunity.

As a result we have sourced the following products VandlGuard and MicroSeal.

By partnering with Rainguard International, Performance Solutions NZ is able to deliver proven coatings solutions that have been used extensively in the global arena ranging from Wal-marts, to large infrastructure facilities, to the Athens Olympics structures as well as residential projects. Performance Solutions NZ offers green, scientifically proven anti-graffiti and water repellent formulations for both horizontal and vertical substrate applications.

To deliver choice to the New Zealand marketplace and competitive alternatives, not only in price but more importantly quality and continued performance.

To make a strong contribution in the removal and eradication of tagging in this country. There are constant challenges made to our clean green "pure" image and nothing is more at odds with this than tagging. A few flourishes of a spray can has the ability to quickly devalue a new structure or development. Suburbs working to emerge from their lower socio economic status identify the removal of tagging as a key factor that visually reinforces their new message.

No matter where tagging appears it is an eyesore. Performance Solutions provides an anti-graffiti coating that protects indefinitely.
